My top 3 face primers!

If you have oily/combination skin... this is a MUST READ. Thanks to my genes and always being super busy, one of my pet peeves when it comes to makeup is OILY skin, especially after spending time in humidity or running around running errands, my makeup needs to be kept FRESH.

Before face primer sprays, I always used Neutrogena's Shine-Control Blotting Sheets. To some degree, it worked but I felt like it would just swipe away my foundation or bronzer and I hated adding MORE foundation/bronzer onto my face. (Which therefore causes more breakouts the more you build and cake it on! Yuck! )

My very FIRST primer was Skindinavia's Makeup Setting Spray in No More Shine. If you were looking for something to keep your feeling makeup fresh, I would give it a 8 out of 10. However, if you were looking for a more Matte finish, I'd give it a 5. The hype built around it pushed me to try it out, but it didn't workout based on my needs. After a couple hours, my T-Zone already began oiling up.

My second primer earlier this year, I tried Mac's Fix Plus spray and let me first say this smells AMAZING and if you combine it with Mac's Prep and Prime Transparent Finishing Powder, it works and creates a matte finished look! But after 5-6 hours for me, I would have to re-apply powder to prevent my face from getting oily AGAIN. To re-apply foundation and layers onto my face is way doing way too much and I've been searching for a primer that will stop me from doing so.

and so FINALLY we get to the best part. Victoria's Secret Face Prime, Makeup Primer and Setting Spray. So WORTH my $12. It doesn't smell as great as Mac's Fix Plus spray, but after 8 hours of spending time in 80 degree weather, driving back and fourth running errands, my face did not feel greasy nor did my makeup feel like it would smear easily. I didn't even have to pick up any face powder to refresh my T-Zone area simply because this setting spray actually WORKS. So if you have oily skin, and are tired of having to re-apply powder foundation throughout the day or tired of using blotting sheets... THIS IS YOUR LIFE SAVOR! Thank you Victoria's Secret for not only making boob and booty look luscious but for making my makeup feel fresh and matted allllllll day.
